Weird... It works nicely, then if I turn the computer off...and again on.... it doesn't work, or it works with flaws...

Question: Some caps on the divmmc giving an bad time for the bus of the timex? after 1-2 minutes it will start to work again ...
I reproduced this on 2 different timex 2048.  not able to reproduce it on timex 2068.

There are many versions of DivMMC.
I don't know which version you have, but your problem may be caused by an unstable clock. Or the reason could be simple, the edge connector is dirty.
After so many years, every computer needs an overhaul.

DivMMC Future from TFW8 does not rely on the clock signal available on the edge connector.
