Help Needed!! FDD35 and latest Ti-Of-TTL by pear

Hi, i'm looking for some help regarding the new FDD35 and also the Ti-of-TTL: so the problems are :

- FDD35 works without a problem with 2 FDD3000 original drives ( A and B ), works with PC floppies but if you put a Gotek in this mix it replicates the amount of drives.
So in a Gotek alone configuration if you do GO TO *":" and then CAT * , i'm getting 2 drives (A/B) . If i put a Gotek and a PC drive, i get 3 drives (A/C/B)
Anyone encountered this problem? I'm using a straight cable with 2x3.5 idc + 2x5.25 IDC. Jumpers are configured to XT XT AB AB. Tested all possible combinations and always get 2 extra drives  with the Gotek.

- Ti-of-TTL works in 48k Spectrum +/Timex 2048 but can't put it to work with +2 Grey / 2A /2B.
*For +2 Grey, i've tested with and without 74LS08. It has an Amstrad ROM, so tested with AMS jumper , 5-6. Always get a white border and black paper. The FDD35 is always accessing the Gotek and doesn't advance, do anything else. Remove jumpers gets the Spectrum menu.
*For +2 Black, tested with 74LS08 inserted, jumpers A13 1-2 / A14 1-2 (27C256) , jumpers 5-6 and AMS. With this configuration always get a screen full of squares and some flickering

If anyone has had these problems or similar please add your input here. All the help is appreciated.

Interesting fact : Ti-of-TTL with Stavi rom works with +2 grey but doesn't with +2a/b

What about the DE and OE jumpers in case of +2A/B?
BTW. If you short AMS and A14 at 1-2 and 5-6 simultaneously you got a hazard.

Hi ArturM, tried the OE and DE jumpers, but with A13 and A14 jumpers fitted as 1-2 / 1-2. As for the AMS was fitted too and the 5-6 was also fitted.

So your recommendation is A13 / 1-2 for 27c256 . A14 only 5-6 plus AMS and OE/DE? I'll give it a go and see...

Another instance is with +2 Grey, can get it to work with the Rom 2015 Ti-of-TTL but with the Stavi one it works fine.

In this setting you have to upload a IF ROM image at correct address, because the A14 become always high.
Or fill all the 27c256 area (8-times).

Advice: For testing use some compatible Flash like W27E257-12.

Hi ArthurM, tried as you said and still didn't work. ZX Spectrum +2A gives squares on screen but works without a problem without the Interface connected

Apart from the hardware jumper setting, did you use the correct interface ROM images for particular ZX models? IMO:
- For 48K - use original IFROM image: TI4TC2048.ROM,
- For 128K, +2 Grey - use IFROM modified by STAVI for 128K: 3000STAVI128.ROM,
- For +2A/B, +3 - use IFROM modified by MAŁY for +3: 3000PLUS3.ROM.

Hi, that is really a good question!!!

I've used only Ti-of-TTL supplied by pear , as it works fine with all 48k ( zx and Timex ) and used the Stavi one for the 128k +2 Grey.

I don't have the other one.

Both of these ROMs are identical... and corrupt.
Attached are two versions of working (at least on the emulator) ROMs...
